Healthy mothers. Healthy earth.

Stand out. Speak up. Be you.

My name is Silje Nicoline Runesdatter Kvalheim. I was born in the city of Drammen, Norway in 1984. In 2020 I am living with my darling daughter Indra Ottilie, my husband Arnfinn and our cat Skogs ( Forest ). We also have other living beings on this land, like my dear dog Lykke, and many others with and without names too many to mention here. We have been living and tending this land since 2021. Our love and relationship to this land is continually growing and expanding.

My people come from Scandinavia- and further back in time, I have connected with traditional nature people that lived in close connection with this land. I am still on a path of healing in regards to my ancestors and my deep roots.

After the birth of my daughter in 2016 I learned the hard way how birth shouldn´t be. I learned how little support postpartum mothers get. And I learned how to heal and step into myself, my maternal lineage, my story and my work in this lifetime. I then ( in 2020 ) started Innate Postpartum Care training by Rachelle Garcia Seliga- and will continue to educate myself on helping women in and after birth.

Today I am working with women, who have health problems after birth. I invite them here, to my sanctuary in Holmestrand where I provide personal, intimate and nourishing healing modalities to support and witness their healing work as mothers and women. I use a range of my personal and professional experience with movement and dance, as well as yoga and somatic practices, together with intuitive and Fascial massage techniques. I also offer warm inducing therapies- and holistic counselling. I am also an artist with a professional degree and career in dance, as well as a yoga instructor, forest therapy guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy.

In 2020 I started the podcast EYEMOTHER a podcast for and by women to tell our stories of birth, postpartum, motherhood and healing after trauma.
